Activities & Events ART CENTER AND CROSSROADS GALLERY
The Crossroads Gallery, visible from the front entrance of the building, draws both residents and visitors. An ambitious schedule of exhibitions gives viewers an opportunity to see works in a variety of media and on a range of subjects. An annual exhibition of work by residents offers a showcase of talent both discovered and nurtured at Goodwin House. The Art Studio is ... the nucleus for discovery for many residents, including some who had no inkling of the creativity lurking just below the surface. The Art Center is one of the defining features of Goodwin House Baileys Crossroads and a hub of creativity. The large, open room attracts residents for both classes and individual projects, and the Center sponsors weekly art films and offers trips to area museums. There is an extensive library of art books.
