Bible Study-HCC residents meet with the GHBC Chaplain for 30 minutes for singing and a look at a scriptural passage or a spiritual concept, often relating to the previous Sunday’s message or a spiritual theme of the season. The discussion generally begins and ends with one or two familiar hymns either chosen by the residents or related to the theme of the day’s discussion. The discussion may be chaplain-planned but is resident-driven in the direction that it takes. HCC staff and interns actively participate in, and assist with, the weekly discussions.
