Many activities are offered each month and all residents are encouraged and welcome to attend. Click the link below to view the activity schedule for the current month.

Art with Anthony-An informal art class led by GHBC's Art coordinator every Thursday at 2:00 PM. Each week, residents explore their creative side through use of watercolor, markers or colored pencils.
Chair Exercise with Joanne- Chair Exercise is a fun 30-minute total body workout, that focuses on improving muscular strength, coordination, and joint range of motion. The instructor uses fitness props and equipment to keep participants moving and engaged in this energy boosting workout. Classes are held Tuesday & Thursdays at 11:20 AM.
Functional Fitness with Sherry- Functional Fitness is a high energy 30-minute workout that engages the mind and body. The class uses fast paced movements and fitness props that stimulate the sensory system, increase circulation, and improve muscular endurance. Classes are held on Mondays & Fridays from 11:20-11:50 AM.
Nutrition Corner with Alison- GHBC’s Dietician Alison leads an educational and fun program to discuss different nutritional foods and the benefits of eating healthy. Each week she incorporates the food she discusses into a yummy treat that participants can try!
Scenic Drives- Each month residents have the opportunity to relax and enjoy a ride around a chosen destination. Past destinations have included Mt. Vernon and the Tidal Basin.
Spiritual Care Group- This 30 minute group is held every Monday at 10:45 AM. The group is led by Liz from Chaplaincy and gather to explore storytelling, poetry, scripture, song, or prayer in community together and share life stories and look for connections with one another. People participate at the level they are able, and all are welcome.
