JEFFERSON DINING ROOM
Reservations are required in the Jefferson Dining Room every day for dinner, for brunches, and for special. events, regardless of the number of diners. Reservations for brunches and special events are limited to parties of no more than eight people. Reservations can also be made for lunch in the JDR.
To make a reservation, select the date, the number of guests (The word 'guest' means the total number of people--regardless of whether they are Residents or non-residents--that will be at the table) and the desired time. Then provide your name, cell phone number and email address. Reservations are available at fifteen-minute intervals; if there are no longer any reservations open at the time you select, that time will not show up as available and you will need to select another time. If you enter a cell phone number, you will receive an immediate text confirmation. If you enter an email address, you will receive an immediate email confirmation.
NOTE: You must enter something in fields for phone and email.
If you do not have a cell phone, enter your 10-digit landline number. If you do not have email, enter some combination of letters and numbers in email format, e.g. firstname.lastname@example.org.
Confirmation can only be sent via mobile phone text message or via email. If you have neither, you may make a reservation, but you will not receive a confirmation.
Online reservations need to be made at least 2 hours before the time of the requested slot. No reservations can be made either online or by phone after 4:45 p.m. At that point, residents will just need to go in person to the JDR and ask the hostess if she/he can work them in.
SPECIAL EVENTS AND BRUNCH RESERVATION POLICIES
Due to limited seating in the Jefferson dining room, Special Events and Brunch are usually fully booked. As a result, many residents are unable to attend the events. Reservations for these special events must be made by calling ext. 7645 (no online reservations accepted) and cannot exceed eight people.
When reservations are unclaimed, we make every effort to accommodate those on a waitlist. Often, these residents cannot be reached or have made other plans. If you do not intend to claim your reservation, please cancel at least 24 hours in advance so that others can be accommodated.
On the day of the event, if you are thirty minutes late with no contact, your party will be considered a “no show.” A CHARGE EQUAL TO ONE MEAL PER PARTY WILL BE INSTITUTED FOR "NO-SHOWS."
