Volunteer IT Services
The GHBC Resident IT Volunteer team offers an IT Device Clinic in the Bistro, Monday and Thursday mornings between 9:00 and 10:30 a.m. Resident volunteers are available to examine, diagnose, fix and/or explain problems that residents are having with a portable IT device -- phones, pads, laptops, etc. -- MAC or PC products are both welcome. Referrals to the Resident IT Specialist for serious difficulties are recommended as necessary. IT Classes on YouTube
Victor Otusanya, Resident IT Specialist, has presented a number of classes to residents.  Three of these have been recorded on YouTube, each running about 45 minutes.
Electronic Recycle Dropoff
A special feature of the IT department services for residents (see below) is Electronic Recycle Dropoff.  Anything electronic (except printer ink) can be taken to the IT office on the ground floor (across from the Salon) during office hours:  Monday-Friday 9-5.  IT staff take the items to a local business, eAsset Solutions, where they are recycled in accordance with local, state and Federal law.  Data destruction is included.  See HERE for the eAsset Solutions website.  Note that items are destroyed, not passed along for re-use.  There is no charge to residents for this service.
Professional IT Services
Use the form below to request services from the Goodwin House Resident IT Specialist.  The IT Department will respond within 24 hours if possible.  The IT Specialist is available at GHBC Tuesday and Friday mornings and all day Wednesday.  There are charges for services obtained using the department's staff, other than for problems with landline phones or a failure of the GHBC WiFi itself.
