MASSAGE 
Massage is generally considered part of integrative medicine. Massage involves the therapeutic manipulation, rubbing, and pressing of soft tissues (muscles, ligaments, and tendons). It is increasingly being offered, along with standard treatment, for a wide range of medical conditions and situations. Massage benefits can include:

• Reducing stress and increasing relaxation
• Reducing pain and muscle soreness and tension
• Improving circulation, energy, and alertness
• Lowering heart rate and blood pressure

Massage services at GHBC are provided by our contractor, Madison Roach.  Madison is a skilled and qualified professional massage therapist who graduated from the Northern VA School of Therapeutic Massage.  Her goal as a massage therapist:  "Help people achieve wellness and nurture their bodies through healing touch."
